The Rivers State Police Command yesterday announced an immediate ban on the use of sirens, revolving lights and tinted glasses of vehicles, saying they are a threat to internal security.
Police Commissioner Tunde Ogunsakin stated this in a statement issued yesterday and signed by the state Assistant Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Grace Iringe-Koko.
Ogunsakin stated that the items were being abused, and to commit crimes.
