According to the Sun newspaper, the APC party is currently losing sleep over President Jonathan's VP Namadi Sambo's cross-country trips to reconcile aggrieved PDP member.
Sambo has been going around the country on a 'peace drive' reconciling the aggrieved PDP members and rallying support for the coming elections.
According to The Sun's source, APC is rattled by Sambo's success so far, especially in some crucial states.
The source said “The APC is clearly shocked by the recent successful reconciliation between the two major contenders for the PDP ticket in Lagos State, which is an APC stronghold. Opposition leaders were pleased with the earlier division in the Lagos PDP following disagreements on conduct of the primary election. But now the story is different."
