A blog post by Anthony Obuegbe has outlined seven ways he believes President Jonathan has tackled corruption in Nigeria.
"These days," Anthony writes, "I hear people say that president Jonathan has done “nothing” to fight corruption in Nigeria."
He adds that whenever he hears that, he believes that the people who say it are either ignorant or flat out liars.
He said that Nigeria's 'beating' eight other countries to emerge the 136th most transparent nation in the world was no accident.
Below is a cursory list of the seven ways he says corruption has been tackled by the incumbent:
1. 40 Years Of Corruption In The Agricultural Sector Ended Within 90 Days
2. President Jonathan Organized The Freest, Fairest And Most Peaceful And Credible Elections EVER
3. 60,000 “GHOST” Workers Exposed
4. N1.4 Trillion Worth Of Public Sector Theft Blocked Through Import-Waiver Reforms
5. Stealing Money Through Government Contract Is Now Harder Than Ever
6. Ongoing Sanitization Of The Oil And Gas Sector Already Yielding Results
7. EFCC Has Prosecuted 427 Cases In 3 Years
