Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has appointed Jerry Manwe, a former member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as his Chief of Staff.
PREMIUM TIMES reports that a letter of appointment with reference No. NASS/SPK/MGT/VOL.I/002 dated 15th June, 2015, addressed to the Clerk National Assembly and signed by the Speaker, conveyed Mr. Manwe’s appointment as his chief of staff. The appointment is with immediate effect.
Manwe was a member of the PDP until January when he defected to the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
