NAN - After seeing his career and presidential aspirations truncated by a sex scandal, former chief of IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn has become the head of an investment firm.
Mr. Dominique, a 64-yr old economist was at the helm of affairs when the IMF rescued several debt-crushed nations. He was however forced to resign in 2011 when a hotel maid in New York accused him of sexual assault.
Since then, he has settled a civil case brought by the maid after the criminal charges were dropped. However, he still awaits trial in France for another issue – accusations of pimping over certain sex parties he attended.
He will be pleading not guilty.
The man known as DSK to many has said that he has been appointed the President of an investment firm that operates in finance centers which include Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Belgium, Israel and Romania.
The firm itself, which was founded by a French banker, Thierry Leyne in the year 1994, will have a change of name, from Anatevka to LSK.
LSK is an acronym for Leyne, Strauss-Kahn and Partners.
