The Budget Office and Ministry of Finance are both being involved in the blame the alleged poor funding of Ministries, Departments and Agencies(MDAs) by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, during a courtesy visit led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Alhaji Hamman Tukur.
Reacting to the statement that the National Assembly showed no interest in the power reforms projects, Tambuwal refuted the statement, saying that the House passed bills sent to it by the executive on the unbundling of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) quickly.
He spoke concerning finance and the Budget Office, "This I'm saying, as the leader of this house, is the fact and until we address the challenges of the budget office, which normally changes the submissions of the MDAs whimsically without any expertise.
