American veteran comedian, Bill Cosby suffered yet another blow in the ongoing rape allegations that have cast a dim light over his career and personality as Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee has cancelled a scheduled appearance of the comedian at its forthcoming fundraising event.
Cosby has been on the receiving end of charges of sexual molestation, drugging and rape of several women from his past;n the latest being Donna Motsinger of Taos, New Mexico, who reportedly claimed the comedian drugged and raped her in 1971.
Another victim from a 2005 lawsuit against Cosby has also stepped forward to tell her story, saying she had felt like a 'coward' for remaining quiet.
President of the Christian institution, Joe Wiley has released a statement, which read:
“As important as this event is to our students, we know that names we have seen in the media represent real people who will be affected long after FHU’s dinner has passed. Please join us in praying for healing and peace for those involved.”
