6 Nigerian soldiers were reportedly killed in Jos, Plateau state
Narrating the incident to Reuters, Captain Ikedichi Iweha, military spokesperson said, ''Tongues were cut off, eyes were gouged out, bodies were decapitated.
"Yesterday, contact was made with the militia group and a firefight ensued. It is still going on," he said.
He said that several villages were burnt down during the attack.
He however denied that the Nigerian army when on rampage to avenge the fallen soldiers.
