A worker suffered severe damage to her left arm after she stuck it in a tiger enclosure on Saturday at a US animal park and couldn't withdraw it before the animal clawed her.
Joe Schreibvogel, owner of the Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park in Wynnewood, central Oklahoma said the arm was still attached and that the young woman was conscious and able to talk and move her fingers when she was airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital several hours later.
He said doctors are trying to save her arm.
He didn't release the woman's name and said she violated protocol by sticking her arm into the cage.
