Since the first day of the New Year, several Nigerians in showbiz have shared some sermons on social media.
Top among them is Waje. She did it so well and even quoted some bible verses, and now Toke Makinwa an OAP has posted a sermon on Instagram.
Toke is preaching about prayers and faith in God. Read what she posted online:
'And David encouraged himself in the word of God''. That line gets me all the time. Sometimes you are all you've got, you find no encouragement from family or so called friends, no support whatsoever, just you and the dream that keeps you up all night."
"It's so easy to want to give up and remain ordinary, nurture your faith, faith is likened to a seed and you need to plant that seed with prayer. Just as a plant needs constant grooming for it to grow, feed your faith with prayer daily.
"Train your mind to shut every distraction out and pray when you feel doubt coming. Pray when you are tired, pray when you feel everything slipping.
Have a prayer filled Friday."
