A report by the Helix Institute of Digital Finance on mobile money agent networks has said that while mobile money agents in Uganda are becoming near-ubiquitous, they have to deal with large-scale fraud issues as well as service downtime and robbery.
Titled the “Uganda Agent Network report”, the report was carried out in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Microsave. It is the largest project targeted at agent networks the world over, designed to pinpoint their drive, scale and success.
