Watch Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola blame President Goodluck Jonathan for the robbery incident that took place in Lekki, area of the state on Thursday.
There is possibility to Fashola statement. People should see it from the perspective of the cause and effect.
Prior to the GEJ frequently visits to Lagos with the quantum of cash he is throwing arround and unfamiliar security men arround.
Why should any one just slam Fasola without refuting reason that has been adduced.

This has nothing to do with slamming Fashola. The statement was wrong! It is extremely disappointing to use this situation for political mileage and I would have condemned it if it came from the other party. I was particularly disappointed that it came from Fashola who is usually measured. But then again desperate times calls for desperate measures and both main political parties could not care less
There is significance in the premium you've placed on Fashola and should not diminish because the Nation is swimming in the turbulent ocean of politics - anything at anytime can be thrown overboard.
With due respect to you @kayode ajayi, this is crap: '...the nation is swimming in the turbulent ocean of politics - anything at anytime can be thrown overboard.' What does that even mean?
Fashola didn't deign to talk about the civilians that died in the shoot out because he was busy attacking the president for the dearth of policemen at the time of the shooting. I daresay the outcome of that robbery would have been the same were Jonathan in town or not.
I am appalled at the lack of tack, empathy, sympathy and human emotion when people who the incumbents (yes, that includes Fashola) swore to protect with the administrative power entrusted to them.
Listen, I respect Fashola (or used to) on a good day, but there's no coming back from this one.

If Fashola address was made at the home of any of the victims of the robbery incident. It wasn't an ideal place to talk and to give the reason for mishap. Then Fasola was at a place and in time to have maintained a compassionate silence.
Niether Fashola nor any human being should be so hardened as not to reciprocate the duty of care and safety we owe to the fellow human beings.
Let's condem every condemnable act and even to ostracised any one that wish death for a living fellow in the name of politics or in whatever disguise: not even on the account of age and illness.
