Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State has assured that his administration will not bequath uncompleted projects to his successor in 2015.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Press Affairs, Abubakar Dangusau, in Sokoto on Thursday.
It stated that Wamakko made this known when he inspected some projects being executed by the state government.
Wamakko, therefore, directed the state Ministry of Works to sustain their stringent supervision of the projects, saying: ``the state government will not condone the snail-speed and shoddy execution of projects.
``The state government will not therefore hesitate to wield the big stick on any official or contractor who is found wanting in this direction,’’ he said
