The All Progressives Congress, APC Adamawa state chapter is displeased with the defection of former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu to the Peoples Democratic Party.
APC Secretary in Adamawa, Alhaji Abdullahi Bakari, however stated that Ribadu's defection will not affect the fortunes of the APC in Adamawa.
Addressing newsmen, Bakari said, We are not happy that Ribadu has left us, but one thing that is clear now is that his movement has created more problems for PDP in the state.
"The party in Adamawa is healthy and vibrant, what we are working on now is to have a formidable candidate for the October 11 bye-election to recover our mandate," Bakari said.
