National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prof. Wale Oladipo, yesterday disclosed that the Presidency does not fund the party’s campaigns.
Speaking with newsmen at the party’s national secretariat, Oladapo also accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of the violence that erupted in Ile -Ife, Osun State, urging security operatives to arrest “the leaders who led the onslaught.”
He was reacting to allegations, particularly by the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the over militarisation of the Ekiti State election as well as the funding by the presidency resulted in PDP’s victory at the polls.
