Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given a hint that he is set to extend his deal at the club beyond this summer.
Wenger's current contract is set to expire this summer,with fears over the Frenchman's future at the club.
But speaking at a press conference on Friday,Wenger stated that he hasn't reached an agreement for a new deal just yet.
“No,” he replied when asked about a possible renewal “I will talk to them [possible signings], don’t worry.
“There is always a point where you have to decide [on a new contract], of course. There is a point where you have to decide and there is a point where you have to make your decision public. You can take of that sentence what you want.”
Wenger also revealed that worked are in the pipelines over contract talks with defenders Per Mertesacker and Bacary Sagna.
“We are making good progress and hopefully we can announce something soon,” Wenger said.
