Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, is seriously looking for a platform that would save him from facing prosecution for alleged crimes he committed during office after 2018, an APC chief has stated.

“The APC is his likely point of call,” the APC chief said. “You know Fayose is facing a lot of criminal charges in the court and I am sure the EFCC is waiting for him to complete his tenure in 2018. He is being covered by immunity and that is why he is just running his mouth but we are waiting for him in the APC."

According to him, Fayose's latest romance with APC governors and “patronizing remarks in support of some leaders of the APC, especially Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,” are pointers that he plans to have a soft landing anytime he knocks at the party’s doors.
