Nigeria - Guinness Nigeria Plc has replaced its current Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Mr. John O'Keeffe six months after he was appointed, online news site, 4-traders says.
O'keefe will be succeeded by Mr.Soren Lauridsen from May 2015.
According to the Head, Listings Regulation Department of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Josephine Igbinosun, O'Keeffe has been promoted President, Diageo Africa the Parent company of Guinness.
He will be joining the Diageo Executive Committee and reporting to Dr. Nick Blazquez, President Africa and Asia.
The Managing Directors of Diageo's four African markets (Nigeria, South Africa, East Africa and African Regional Markets - rest of Africa), as well the Regional Finance Director, Africa, will report to John with effect from July 1, 2015.
