Robert Mugabe was booed by members of parliament during his first state of the nation address in eight years.
SKY NEWS reports that opposition MPs booed and shouted as Mugabe spoke for less than 30 minutes on what he planned to do to tackle the economic crisis facing the country. The 91-year-old leader undeterred by the booing said his government hoped to bring in a law aimed at stopping workers from being sacked without any pay.
He went on to outline a 10-point plan to solve Zimbabwe's country's economic crisis. Mugabe has been in power for 28 years.
