Alhaji Sani Shehu Sanin Malam, former chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in Bauchi State, has indicated interest in contesting the governorship seat of the state in the 2015 general election.
According to DAILY TRUST, Shehu declared his ambition while speaking with newsmen in Bauchi, " By 2015, Bauchi State needs credible leaders that grew and stayed in the town in order to bring positive change and socio-economic development of the people".
He said since All Nigeria's People Party(ANPP) has now merged with All Progressives Congress (APC) he will contest under the banner of APC.
He further reiterated the commitment of the APC to chase out Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) led government that he alleged had spent over 13 years without meaningful development in the state and pledged to make a difference if he wins the Bauchi gubernatorial seat come 2015.
