The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Mr Stephen Adegbite, on Thursday expressed hope that Nigeria would overcome its current challenges in 2015.
Adegbite said this in the New Year service sermon at the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Lagos.
He said that in spite of the uncertainty that loomed the country would sail higher above the trials and tribulations.
''Nigerians should believe and trust in God because it is only God that can save Nigeria. You will agree with me that uncertainty looms over the place but with God on our side Nigerians will land safely.
''Nigeria is bigger than an individual; Nigeria is an entity, and it is never an abandoned project by God. We believe and have faith in Nigeria; we know it’s going to be well with this country.
''So, Nigerians should trust in God, pray and also ensure that when the time of election comes they should vote for the right people to be in offices. They should make sure that they vote for people who can deliver and, with that, Nigeria will be a better place for all of us to dwell and stay.
