The All Progressives Congress, APC has cleared all seven of its apirants ahead of the party primaries which may not hold.
NATIONAL MIRROR reported that a source, who is an executive member of the party in the state, said that there is high possibility of all the aspirant agreeing to produce a consensus candidate that will fly the party’s flag in the governorship by-election.
The Seven aspirants include former chairman of Yola North Local Government, Ibrahim Mijinyawa; former Deputy National Chairman of defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Boss Mustapha; former chairman of the National Boundary Commission, NBC, Dahiru Bobbo, a former federal lawmaker, Bello Emmanuel, Senator Ahmed Barata, former Executive Secretary of the National Sugar Council, Yakubu Tsalla and Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Army and Security, Senator Bindow Jibrilla Ahmed.
