Sports Another problem for Osaze Odemwingie: Nigerian player investigated over transfer fallout with agent

Nigerian international Osaze Odemwingie is being investigated for a possible transfer breach that saw him leave West Brom for Cardiff City last summer.

According to a report on Daily Mail, the 32-year old has fallen out with Rob Segal who helped broker the deal to the Welsh club just a day to the close of the transfer window.

Odemwingie is said to be involved in a legal dispute with Segal, over the payment of agents’ fees in the transfer.

The Super Eagles player practically forced his way out of West Brom, after failing to secure a transfer in January 2013,which resulted in him being an outcast at the Midlands club.

He did leave for Cardiff and in less than six months secured another transfer to Stoke City.

The move to Stoke City is equally subject to another investigation, which will now be heard at an English FA tribunal.
