The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State has appealed to the four defeated governorship aspirants to join hands with Aminu Tambuwal to ensure the success of the party in 2015 elections.
The state Acting Chairman of the party, Alhaji Usman Danmadamin-Isa, made the call when he addressed newsmen on Thursday’s governorship primaries in Sokoto on Friday.
Danmadamin-Isa said that the party would win all the positions at all levels during the 2015 general elections.
He said, "In any matter like that of elections, there must be challenges, but we are not afraid of any challenge. APC has no problem as we are close to the grassroots where everything is happening".
The acting chairman said that APC had no fears on the forthcoming general elections.
He expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the party delegates and the aspirants conducted themselves before and during the primaries.
