Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Mathieu Debuchy will be out for at least three months.
Debuchy suffered a horrific injury after going down in their 2-2 draw against Manchester City at the Emirates.
And Wenger confirmed that the surgery on Debuchy "went well" but added that his absence "is a blow".
"How big it will be we will only know afterwards as it will be down to how well we replace him. We bought [Calum] Chambers for that," added Wenger.
In his stead,Calum Chambers is expected to fill in at right-back but any further injury to any of Arsenal defenders could really affect the Gunners title chances.
