The recent social media uproar whether the reality TV show winner, Efe Ejeba intentionally unfollowed some of his followers on instagram may not be true after all, and communicate the true intention of the Delta-born 24 year old. The unfollowing of some of his fans have got the ire of fans who felt the new celebrity has now become “proud” of his new achievement.
Some investigations have revealed that Efe had about 12,100 followers on IG before he went for the Reality TV show. His entrance into the Big Brother House suggests that his IG account was to be managed by someone else, who for whatever reason decided to unfollow all his followers, leaving just five people, namely, Baddosneh, 2face Idibia, Annie Idibia, and Funke Akindele. That action led to a reprisal “unfollowing” by those affected, and this further reduced his overall followers at the time to 11,600 followers.
On returning from the house, the account then started following Payporte, one of the sponsors of the show. What this means is that either Efe followed Payporte himself or the account is still being managed by the person who handled it while he was away.
