Metro Boko Haram Insurgents Abduct 8 More Teenage Girls, Take Over Gwoza Roads

According to #SaharaReporters, #BokoHaram insurgents have accelerated their attacks on Borno state overnight, as they took over police and army checkpoints in Gamboru Ngala and Shanni near the Nigerian/Cameroonian border.

The sect raided Waranbe village, Gwoza, which is 130km from Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.

The militants abducted 8 teenage girls and took over all highways leading to Gwoza, residents of the area say.
