A suspected Boko Haram recruiter has been arrested on leaving the Nigerian embassy in Senegal.
According to the Senegalese police the suspect was well known to Nigerian intelligence services and had been in Mauritania for some months before coming to Senegal to recruit on behalf of Boko Haram.
The Nigerian was arrested on the first of April in a Dakar suburb.
Two Moroccans suspected to be jihadists were also arrested, the police said.
The men, whose names were not provided, were being detained while a prosecutor examines the evidence against them.
