Politics Buhari is Allowed to Pick All Political Appointees From His Village -Pat Utomi

Prof. Pat Utomi, Political economist and public affairs analyst, has said President Muhammadu Buhari is free to appoint whoever he likes into political offices.



President Buhari has beenaccused of appointing only his 'brothers' into political positions as 18 out of 24 appointments so far has been given to Northerners.

Speaking to DAILY INDEPENDENT, Utomi described the criticism as ‘small and petty’.

''Let’s get serious. Let‘s get to move this country forward and away from all this small, petty issues. To me it is not an important issue and I don’t want to deal with it. The President can appoint everybody from one village. As long as the people can get the job done, let them get it done. That is what Nigerians wanted and that is what they voted for''.

Why don't we just get rid of all state governors, national house of assembly, all politicians and just give Buhari the opportunity to rule under Marshall law for 15 years. I promise he would fix Nigeria!

While I am sure Buhari will do a great job, people like Pat Utomi are not doing him any favours. If he derails none of these guys are in the position to question him.

Time for some people to start asking questions on behalf of all Nigerians. Buhari is President of Nigeria nothing can change that but come on prof...
