The people of Oyo state have been encouraged to vote in President Jonathan in the elections if they wish to see the creation of an Ibadan state.
The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, said this on Thursday during a PDP campaign for president Jonathan and Senator Teslim Folarin in Ibadan.
“You should please go out and convince others to collect their voter cards. Tell them to vote for Jonathan and Folarin. It is by doing so that we can get Ibadan state. Vote PDP, vote Ibadan state,” she said.
