Nigeria - President of the Republic of Chad, Idriss Deby, has warned Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari not to enter into negotiations with the Boko Haram sect, UK Telegraph reports.
According to him, the sect has a new leader who is indicating interest of negotiating with the Nigeria government.
"For my part, I would advise not to negotiate with a terrorist." he said at a press briefing yesterday.

Mr Deby, whose forces have been fighting Boko Haram militants around Nigeria's border areas, made the comments in a press conference on Tuesday in which he claimed that the group was now on the back foot militarily and would be finished "by the end of the year".
"Boko Haram is decapitated. There are little groups (of Boko Haram members) scattered throughout east Nigeria, on the border with Cameroon. It is within our power to definitively overcome Boko Haram."
However the sect's carnage in recent weeks have been on the increase.
