The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Ekiti State Command, says it has commenced the destruction of 680 acres of cannabis farms in Ode Forest, Gboyin Local Government Area of the state.
The four persons that were arrested in connection with the discovery, Myaga Joseph, Lawal Ganiyu, Amos Macus and Ifije Sunday, were jailed last week. The cannabis farms were discovered in July and September where 160 bags of cannabis leaves were seized.
