President Goodluck Jonathan has informed Nigerians in Washington that elections in the country can no longer be rigged; CHANNELS TV reported.
President Jonathan made the disclosure during an interactive section with with Nigerian professionals in the United States.
The President cited Edo, Ondo and Ekiti States, and said that the Federal Government would take all necessary steps to ensure that no individual, group or political party is able to thwart the legitimate choice of genuine voters in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.
He also reiterated his commitment to keeping the promise he made in 2011 that he would do everything possible to ensure that the elections in Nigeria become very free, fair and credible.
