Enyimba international of Aba player, Kingsley Uluocha, has described their 2-0 home victory over Nasarawa United as a driving force to his side’s Nigeria professional Football League title pursuit.

The Aba Elephants, who currently occupies the third position of the NPFL league table, have gathered 26 points from 14 games, haven’t won 7, drawn 5 and lost 2.

Uluocha further explained that the two-time CAF Champions league winners have since losing out on the continental front set their sight only on one thing, winning the league at the end of the season, because that’ll be their only consolation to crashing out early in the continent.

The 26-year midfielder also commended the League Management Company for taking charge of the league, saying teams are now confident they can get away wins unlike what was obtainable, when the home teams were always the winning team, no matter how much effort the visiting teams put in the game.

"The three points we secured at home against Nasarawa is a very vital one for our title pursuit and I'm sure by the Grace of God we will win the league at the end of the season."

"So far so Good... The officiating in the premier league this season is so awesome.... This season we have seen plenty Away win n Draws unlike the previous seasons where we see "Home team win Syndrome" where in every home team wins there games either by Hook or crook."

"Thanks to the LMC for this improvement by promising freebies to the Referees who officiates a match an away team wins but this token offered to them still has its own disadvantages because some of them intentionally officiates against the Home team in order to get the token that accompanies "Away team win" in a bid to curtail it, Anyway team win clip should be re-watched so as to see whether d game was properly officiated based on 50-50."

Uluocha also attributed their early CAF champions league exit to bad officiating, insisting that his side were better but got robbed on the pitch.

"This is d game of football, anything is bound to happen. We got eliminated owing to bad officiating we got in Egypt. We were just a better side though"

"We didn't want to move maybe lose focus on d the way... We tho we file a complaint nothing tangible would be done about it. We just had to concentrate on d premier league hoping for a better outing next time."

"Good officiating is a major factor then offering Lucrative contracts to player and prompt payment of wages and allowances."

"I think one major reason is the fun of playing off d shores of Nigeria irrespective of d country."

“My candid advice to them is to come back Home. The league is better and has grown n gotten recognition due to the fact that DSTV transmits live matched every weekend or midweek games. And the players here have gotten opportunity to fight for shirt with our counterparts abroad in the Super Eagles, all thanks to the big boss.
