The Special Adviser to Gov Babatunde Fashola on Central Business Districts, Mrs Aderinola Disu resigned her appointment on Friday.

Disu, former Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, made the announcement in her office at a meeting with staff.

``I am retiring voluntarily to attend to family matters as the eldest child of the Braithwaite family’’, she said.

She expressed her appreciation to the staff for their support and assistance toward making her tenure a success.

She promised to respond positively to the needs of the agency whenever she was called upon.

She appealed to the staff to continue to be of good conduct, disciplined and ready to give full support to anyone appointed to succeed her.

Disu, a lawyer, was appointed in July 2011.
