Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state was captured in a parley conversation with the Director General of Department for States Services, DSS, Lawal Daura.
Governor Fayose is a strong critic of President Muhammadu Buhari's government and has on several occasions attacked the secret service dealings among which is the obstruction of the arrest of Apostle Johnson Suleiman in Ekiti state.
He has also condemned the arrest and detention of a former governorship aspirant of the party in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi, by operatives of State Security Service, SSS, describing the arrest and detention as a continuation of the tyranny and barbarism of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government.
