Former Governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido is set to return to turn himself over to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, the former Governor who returned to the country on Monday after a long foreign trip stated this while speaking with journalists in his Bamaina village in Birninkudu Local Government area of the state.
Lamido said, ''I am aware of the invitation''. He said he is always willing to honour this kind of invitation even when he was a governor that enjoyed immunity adding that he'll pay the EFCC a visit by Thursday.
Lamido and his sons are Aminu and Mustapha Lamido are being accused of embezzling funds belonging to Jigawa state.
