There is commotion at the house of representatives over admittance of Petroleum Minister, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu into the lower chamber, The Cable reports.

Members of the house are divided over a motion to admit Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum, into the green chamber.

Kachikwu is expected to explain the reason for the hike in the price of petrol from N86.5 to N145.
