Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has attributed his election victory at the Supreme Court on Tuesday to God.
The governor also commended the Judiciary for rising up to the occasion by standing firm and reaffirming the earlier decisions of the tribunal and the Appeal Court, which had also dismissed the petition of the All Progressives Congress candidate, Chief Timipre Sylva contesting his victory.
He added that despite the economic downturn, his administration would not renege on its agenda of restoration consolidation.
“This is a total victory and it is for the entire people of Byelsa State and a victory for the nation’s democracy,” he noted.
