With Christmas approaching, there seems to be a lot of love in the air especially in Nigerian political circles; Nigerian Politicians have taken to writing open letters to each other. This latest open letter is from Senator Iyabo Obasanjo to her father, former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Iyabo's letter is 11-paged,not as lengthy as the one sent by the former president to President Goodluck Jonathan, however, it is a must read. Iyabo's letter as obtained by VANGUARD is titled "Open Letter to my Father".
In the letter which is dated December 16, Iyabo ruled out further communication with her father till death, describing him as a liar, manipulator, and hypocrite who is determined to seize control of President Jonathan's administration. She accused her father of power greed, saying the former president lived a life where he expected only men of low self esteem and intellect to thrive.
Senator Iyabo also accused her father of cruelty to family members, wife battering plus abandonment of children and grandchildren. In the letter Iyabo also made grave allegations against the late Stella Obasanjo.
