Nigeria - According to former Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, ex President Goodluck Jonathan isn't worthy of all the accolades showered on him for conceding defeat to the newly elected president.
He said that the former president conceded defeat out of fear of President Muhammadu Buhari once the man took over power from him.
Tsav, who was recently appointed Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, said that the fear of being hunted by the new administration for ‘his mismanagement in office’ prompted Jonathan to concede defeat in March.
The Tiv-born politician said: ‘he (president Jonathan) knew that if he dared to cause anything that could have triggered crisis, he knew that he was not safe. ‘As for me, I do not see him as a hero as some people have made him to be’.
