The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Sokoto State Chapter, has introduced a programme designed for the treatment of 2000 diabetes patients per month in Sokoto.
The programme tagged: ``Collaborative Community Health Programme’’ was flagged off on Sunday at Gagi, near Sokoto in Sokoto South Local Government Area and will cover 23 LGAs in the state.
It was jointly organised by the state chapter of the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria, the Nigeria Aid Group of the Jama'atul Nasril Islam and the Minarat Science Academy, Gagi-Sokoto.
The programme will be conducted every first and last Sunday of each month.
