Nokia on Sunday night re-launched the Nokia 3310 nearly 17 years after its debut.
This is the same old classic Nokia phone, which people say is the toughest object in the universe
Here are 11 things you should know about the new phone:
1. The new Nokia 3310 has a 2.4-inch screen with colour display. It has a polarise layer on the top of the glass to make the screen more legible under the direct sunlight.
2. There is a 2-megapixel camera with flash on the rear.
3. It has 22 hours of battery life, which is almost 10X more than what the original Nokia 3310 offered and a month standby battery life.
4. The new Nokia 3310 uses 2G connection.
5. The phone has 16GB internal storage. You can also add a microSD card of up to 32GB.
6. FM radio and MP3 player is inside there in the phone. And so is the headphone jack. No iPhone this, phone.
7. The phone charges via a microUSB port.
8. The phone with Snake preloaded. But now in colour. Also, the same old Nokia ringtones are inside the phone.
9. The phone will be available in four colours. Red and Yellow have shiny finish. The Blue and Gray have matte finish.
10. The user interface is the same old, simple-to-use Nokia software. Although it has been tweaked a little.
11. And finally, launch price is €49 ($51,75; £41.51) and around N16,000 at official market rate in Nigera.
