Speaking during a press briefing at the National Party Headquarters in Abuja on Friday, the party's representatives said the Party, which is being led by its Acting National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus, amounts to little more than a house of corruption.

Detailing many crimes committed by members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party, the workers said the NWC members collected N750m in bribes from Ndudi Elumelu with the intention of handing him Delta State governorship ticket.

They also said that the NWC have also asked the Governor of Kogi State, Wada Idris, to pay out N1bn to be included on the gubernatorial ticket for the State.

This statements are in addition to allegations that Mr. Secondus and his team wasted more than N12bn in the past nine months.
