Even as President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari visits Owerri, Imo state to show support for Governor Rochas Okorocha and APC candidates in the governorship elections of April 11, PDP members are set to defect to the APC (according to The Sun newspaper.)
Imo state had turned out massively for PDP and President Jonathan at the March 28 elections, which had caused confusion for the APC, the party in charge of the state. The Sun says that this dismal outcome is the reason Buhari will be visiting, in a bid to bolster support for Rochas Okorocha in the state.
