Final word on this: I didn't call anybody stupid. You are the ones implying so. For those harping on objectivity, first check up the meaning in the dictionary. There is something called balancing.... you went straight to question the legitimacy of the statement of result, allowing your biased reasoning to impede your judgement. Analytically look at and it is 100% possible that it could be authentic. I have no loyalty for any of the aspirants, it doesn't mean that I should be on the other end of your warped divide. #End

Would you want your result to be published for the whole world to start perusing?? Make no mistakes nobody is denying you the privileges of being a rabble-rouser, but you shouldn't be moronic about it. How about first publishing your own WAEC result on this platform, let's see the subjects you made A1's in. I am sure you even wrote yours not quite long ago....... you think writing it then was a cakewalk.
I will publish my result for the world to see if it is required. Buhari's campaign is hinged on ''anti-corruption'', how do you fight corruption without transparency? . Nobody is telling you not to support him, all i'm saying is ''BE OBJECTIVE''. It's rude to go around calling people names because they disagree with your point of view.

People like you are the reason i'll never consider Buhari a viable option. Never will i have a President who is too big to be challenged; Never. That era is over; i'll match through the streets in protest if i have to. You criticize President Jonathan everyday, blame him for your personal failures yet Buhari is untouchable; I NO GREE

Interesting :)

I don't know why @TheLeftWing and @Jules keep dragging me out. I will have one final reply for your responses and that will be it.
"Chris you are doing yourself and your cause a huge disservice and completely off the mark" he said. Please what disservice am I doing myself shedding light on something. Nobody is stopping you from questioning Buhari, you are not the first and you wont be the last. Let a neutral person go through all our responses and see who has the so called objectivity. I appear to be the only with different views, all others are singing from the same song-sheet, while I am singing another hymn. "People are making valid points and you are abusive and aggressive" LeftWing also said. If disagreeing with someone can be interpreted as being abusive and aggressive.... then we need a comprehension teacher to help us out in this forum.

Over to @Jules. Apparently you don't know when you are being called names and when you are not. Just point out where I called you names. Obviously you invented that just to score cheap points.

You made mention of "Objectivity", tell me how objective you were, when these were your responses in your own write-up: 1) "A statement of result typically carries the date of issuance. A1 in Igbo very possible when you have Igbo seatmates". 2) "Propagandists be like; the passport on the result looks recent". 3) "To an extent, but the affidavit he swore can be used against him by a well motivated lawyer; the affidavit claims the military was with his result. He had the results somewhere but somehow he lied in an affidavit; any lawyer in the house".

In your personal affront to me you wrote this reply: "People like you are the reason i'll never consider Buhari a viable option. Never will i have a President who is too big to be challenged; Never. Now look at what is called an abuse: "You criticize President Jonathan everyday, blame him for your personal failures yet Buhari is untouchable". Unfortunately @TheLeftWing did not see that.

I have never gone into a panegyric fro Buhari or asked people to vote for him. By the way he hasn't come to you to solicit for your vote.

Your lopsided articles shows that you are against him, which should not be so for a reporter. There is a tenet of Journalism called "Fairness". You have not shown it to all the Presidential aspirants.

Finally since this forum does not give room to dissenting voices, I rather opt out and NEVER to contribute again.

Please I beg not to be tagged in again ...... End

I'm proud of you, you wrote an essay.

Truly, truly sad. All in the name of loyalty, insulting a colleague? Buhari and Jonathan may still dine on the same table after the election. Let's not spoil relationships because of our preference for certain politicians. We'll have ourselves to blame at the end. @curator

They will dine and laugh together well after the elections. Who ever wins they will be in the council of state meeting and have all their financial needs met. But a good robust debate is part of any democracy and I am sure there is more to come during this process. Bye for now :)

No harm meant; that's his way of saying 'remember me when GEJ wins'

Hey, guys. Nobody is more objective than I am, and of that I take dollops of pride.

I think it is okay, acceptable even, to question the authenticity of Buhari's certificate. The fact that he delayed and allowed speculation to grow before he finally conceded to release it is enough reason for suspicion to brew, the steam of which is evidenced by the scrutiny his statement of results has been greeted with.

Should there moderation in analyzing this result? Should we spare some angles? As Chris said: should we use 'common sense' when discussing the certificate over a cup of tea? I daresay no. He is a public figure, and in a free society (haha) public figures are liable to receive all the words we can muster, and receive them graciously. No, I daresay there is nothing wrong in what has been said about his certificate.

Perhaps we all need a class in the art of of rhetoric - convincing people simply by the sheer brilliance of your argument laced skilfully in your adroit penmanship.

With that said, I think both fellas - Jules and Chris - may have veered off into...interesting...verbiage, but then again, all is fair in love and war.

And politics.
