Prominent politician and founding member of the Northern Elements People’s Union, NEPU, Lili Gabari is dead.
Mr. Gabari, 82, died on Tuesday morning living behind many children and great grand children.
Tanko Yakasai, a close ally to late Mr. Gabari, disclosed to Premium Times, online newspaper.
Mr. Yakasai said Mr. Gabari contested for Councillor from his Aujara ward under NEPU in the first republic.
The deceased was also a member of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, in the second republic.
He was a major supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party until his death.
