Rihanna has emerged the winner of a legal battle against Topshop over the sales of T-shirts that displays her photo without her permission.
The suit between the pop star and the retail titan started in 2012 when Topshop started selling the T-shirts for £22.
The picture of Rihanna was taken during a video shoot Talk That Talk album by an independent photographer who then authorized the image for Topshop.
According to RTE, "Three appeal judges agreed that selling the item without Rihanna's involvement was an act of "passing off", referring to the unauthorised use of a personal image. Rihanna, one of the world's most successful artists, is thought to be worth over $120 million."
