The All Progressives Congress, APC, in the South East has joined the presidency in advising all the principal officers of the National Assembly, NASS, facing trial for alleged forgery to resign their positions in the Assembly to concentrate on their defence.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon Hyacinth Ngwu, in a statement in Enugu, Thursday, said that it was more honourable to throw in the towel instead of writing letters and appealing to the international community for help.
The statement reads in part, “The APC, in the South East geopolitical zone has advised all the principal officers of the NASS being tried for forgery to do the needful by resigning their positions in the Assembly to enable them focus their energy in defending themselves".
