Enyeama announced that he will no longer play for the Super Eagles again following a fallout with head coach Sunday Oliseh.

“The first step will be for Vincent to rescind his decision to quit the national team because he’s still young, still has a lot of quality and should still be playing,” spokesman of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye told supersport.com.

The media chief added that the final decision on the issue would however rest with head coach Oliseh and members of his backroom staff following “due consultations with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)”.

“The final decision will however rest with coach Oliseh and his back room after due consultations with the NFF.

“I know the NFF has been doing a lot to make sure that the incidents that cropped up in the camp of the Super Eagles in Belgium recently do not crop up again in future.

“There will be a code of conduct made public soon. Also, players will be advised on how to work amicably with the coaches and use of social media platforms.

“There has been a lot of working going on behind the scenes and moves have been made to reconcile all aggrieved parties.

"So if Vincent decides to rescind that decision, I am sure the coaches will consider it because he's one of the best goalkeepers in the world and any country will be happy to have him ,” he said.
